Dear Friends, due to your kind involvement the Charitable Foundation named after Helena Roerich has managed to lend support to Roerich Museum yet again. Since November 24 by joint efforts you have helped to collect 81,298 rubles for Museum. This money enabled to replace a compressor of precision air condition Pegasus.

Dear friends! Charitable Foundation named after Helena Roerich invites you to concerts of its foundationers upon a project "Support of young talents in the field of science and art" in Roerich Museum. As part of the December Christmas Piano Festival, a young, talented pianist, laureate of international competitions Nikolai Kuznetsov will perform in in Roerich Museum . His performance can be described as a unique creative style - deep insight into the content of pieces of music performed and a special philosophical perception of music. Well-known and loved by Moscow audience he has already prepared a new solo program for the Christmas festival. In the program: Bach - Partita in C minor №2, Tchaikovsky - pieces from the cycle "The Seasons", Chopin - Nocturne in F Major (Op. 15, №1), Scherzo №3.

Dear friends! Charitable Foundation named after Helena Roerich invites you to concerts of its foundationers upon a project "Support of young talents in the field of science and art" in Roerich Museum. As part of the December Christmas Piano Festival in Roerich Museum young, but already famous pianists, winners of international competitions Luka Okrostsvaridze and Nikolai Kuznetsov will perform. Luka Okrostsvaridze has specially came from London to give a unique concert for the Russian public. Program: Schumann - Scenes from Childhood (Op. 15), Fantasy in C major (Op. 17).

Association of Friends of Russia together with the Moscow Rotary Club "Moscow Renaissance" conducted VIII-th annual tour of Italy with participation of young Russian musicians, winners of the annual music festival "Light the star." The foundationer Nikolai Kuznetsov participated in this tour.

A foundationer, pianist Luka Okrostsvaridze, won the prestigious XIX José Iturbi International Music Competition. This competition, named after the famous Spanish virtuoso pianist, was founded in 1981 and since then has been held annually at the Palace of Music in Valencia (Spain) which is a part of the World Federation of International Music Competitions. |

Charity Foundation named after Helena Roerich informs that thanks to public donations the Foundation has been able to collect the necessary amount of 201 600 (two hundred and one thousand six hundred) rubles. On August 28 through these funds three humidifier Venta LW-80 for the needs of the Roerich Museum were acquired. With the help of the public the pictures by N.K. Roerich are safe. Funds received in excess of the amount collected will be transferred to the needs of the Museum in the ICR. The Foundation thanks everyone who made a contribution to the common goal of the preservation of Russian culture!

On Saturday, August 29 at the Roerich Museum was held a piano evening dedicated to the memory of Lyudmila V. Shaposhnikova - an outstanding public figure of Russia. A foundationer of the Foundation named after Helena Roerich, laureate of international competitions Nikolai Kuznetsov played works by Scarlatti, Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Ravel.

On August 24 at 21.10 after a long illness at the age of 89 years our beloved Teacher and Mentor left the life, a confidant of Svetoslav Roerich and the executor of his will, the Guardian and Defender of S.N. Roerich’s Heritage, President of the Foundation named after Helena Roerich, Director General of the Roerich Museum of International Center of the Roerichs, Ludmila Shaposhnikova.
